COST & REBATES

Is it covered by Medicare or private health insurance?

ActivArmor casts may attract a rebate under private health insurance extras cover, depending on your fund and level of cover. Medicare does not currently provide a rebate for 3D-printed orthoses outside of specific GP or specialist referral pathways. We recommend contacting your health fund directly to confirm your entitlements prior to fitting.

Is it covered under WorkCover?

Coverage under workers compensation schemes such as icare NSW (SIRA) is subject to pre-approval and clinical justification. Our physiotherapists can prepare the required documentation to support your claim. Please advise us of your workers compensation status at the time of booking.

How much does an ActivArmor cast cost?

Pricing varies depending on the type and complexity of the cast required. Please contact our clinic directly for current pricing. We will provide a full fee estimate prior to proceeding with scanning and fabrication.

Private Health Insurance

May be covered depending on your policy and clinic.

Workers' Compensation

Often covered for work-related injuries.

Out-of-Pocket

Competitive pricing available; discuss with your clinic.
